Delaware has many really scary haunted locations, ghost tours, real haunted houses and much more to explore throughout the state.  The first is where the Delaware Ghost Dwell, Haunted Fort Delaware.  Located on  the secluded Pea Patch Island.  Built in 1859, the fort was used as a prison for Confederates during the Civil War.  During the War, 2,700 prisoners died here.  Civil War re-enactors described hearing and seeing ghost throughout the fort. 

Next you must visit the Easter Shore of Delaware.  Here you can search for escaped slaves along the underground railroad on the Eastern Shore of Delaware.  There has been known sightings of the ones who did not make it to freedom.
