False advertisement
Not at all like the web sites describes,I feel badly for people who drove hours to this attraction based off of the web sites description.the owners should be ashamed.

You get your money's worth
The haunt's new Carnival theme is pretty awesome! The lines are quick moving and short and the actors inside are creepy!! I've been to other places where I paid much more for much less so I was very pleased with what I got.

it needs to have more people in it
it was not that scary it was way too much money for 15 minutes, it was so hard to see where we we going. there were too many holes in the walking path. it was a waste of money. the wait to go in was too long, we knew were the people were

Great Spooks
This was a great, scary experience. It's well worth the money. Without spoiling anything, they set the tone early and get you scared and paranoid as soon as you arrive.

Great way to get in the Halloween spirit!
A common thing you'll see in reviews that this is short. Yes that's true. But within the short amount of time you go through the haunt, you will see great costuming, spirited acting, awesome props, and you'll probably get pretty scared if you have the average threshold for getting scared. We went on the 17th, so it's been open for a while. The VIP pass wasn't worth it for people who went when it just opened, but it was very worth it for us tonight. The normal line was super long, and only two groups were ahead of us in the VIP line. Looks like they've tightened things up since the first couple weekends. I never once saw in-character workers chatting mundanely with customers. That must be another thing they straightened out. Our experience was great. The customer service was lovely and the actors did a great job. I was so impressed, even if it was short. I do not scare easy at all, so I can not say this haunted trail scared me. But the customers ahead of us and behind us were screaming bloody murder. So I'm assuming the average person will find this scary. And if you have a high threshold for scares like me, you can still enjoy the atmosphere and being a part of the Halloween spirit. I'm glad Natchitoches added onto central Louisiana's depressingly small list of things to do for Halloween, and it was a very fresh and fun addition. I like it.

Worst "haunted" place ever
This was by FAR the worst haunted anything I have ever been to! Got there early so only waited about 30 minutes....but we literally paid $20 for a nighttime nature walk. Not only is the path not well lit (PS everyone loses ALL credibility when a person who just tried to scare us from behind a tree has to tell you "go left" to stay on path) but there are holes and roots in the way.....not safe to walk on. It seemed like no one wanted to even be working there. There was no energy. Just such a waste of time and money. I would have had more fun spending $20 at Party City. They whole crew should be ashamed of themselves....you know you had a year to work on the shitty aspects that sucked even more last year. Where'd all that money you squeezed out of people last year go? Someone's vacation or new car? RIDICULOUS

Great experience!
We double dated at Dark Woods tonight for my husband's birthday and it was awesome! There was plenty of organized parking and a shuttle bus picked us up promptly. Purchasing VIP tickets online was a nice so we got to skip the ticket box line. The staff was very friendly and helpful. All the props were done very well. The scare actors we extremely good at their job We screamed & had a blast the entire time. It was a wonderful adrenaline rush. They have nice doughnut stand & gift shop with quality t-shirts. Perfect date night!

needs some improvement but not a bad experience
I think the wait with the VIP pass is a little too long. It is not worth the wait and money for the length of the trail. Needs to have more personnel to control the crowd and keep lines separated. I think there needs to be more entertainment for the amount of money spent on the tickets. But on the other hand the actors were amazing and some of the scenery was very unique. DEFINITELY NEEDS MORE PARKING AND PERSONNEL TO CONTROL THE PARKING AND GETTING THE SHUDDLE BUSES LOADED.

Waste of money
This was boring for my 7 year old, the 17 acres is very misleading, it take 15 minutes walking slow. I know it is new,and may get better, but I will never know, because I will not waste ?? on it not knowing.
