South Dakota has many really scary haunted locations, ghost tours, real haunted houses and much more to explore throughout the state.  Sheriff Seth Bullock was one of the most successful and famous lawmen ever to inhabit the town of Deadwood, South Dakota.  It is said that even his stare could prevent a brawl from coming about. The Bullock Hotel was founded in the 1870s by the sheriff, and it has been reported by the guest and employees that he roams the halls of the building since his death in 1919.
